Start with Your Home Market

If you're a Thailand-based business, file in Thailand first. This is where your customers, suppliers, and reputation are. It's also the foundation for international expansion through the Madrid Protocol.

Then Add Your Manufacturing & Sourcing Countries

If you manufacture in China or source from Vietnam, register there too. Counterfeit production happens at the source. Without local registration, you can't stop unauthorized factories.

Then Add Your Major Sales Markets

Selling on Amazon US or in European retail? Register in those markets. Online marketplaces require local registration to take down infringers.

Thailand is a member of the Madrid Protocol, which lets you file a single international application designating any of 130+ member countries. It's much more efficient than filing separately in each country.
